Hi, we’re the Royal Q Barbecue Team from Reading in “Royal” Berkshire, UK.

Although we’ve been barbecuers and keen cooks for a long time we recently discovered the American style of barbecue, smoking food low and slow. To say we took a shine to this style of Q is an understatement! We got our first smoker in March 2009 and we haven’t stopped since.

We’ve been lucky enough to be involved in the first two British BBQ Society competitions and we’re loving this new circuit. We plan to continue competing with the BBBQS and we’d encourage anyone who loves good Q to join in and be part of the society.
